The Grand Reopening of the re-inspired Astor Grill Doha was an affair to remember.
With Award-winning Chef @sudqinaddaf at the helm as the new executive chef of @stregisdoha, foodies looking for a fun night out are in for a treat.
@astorgrilldohaofficial is renowned for their aged meats, the finest meat cuts, poultry and exotic seafood selection.
Most importantly, they are grilled to perfection over the renowned Josper coal grill for an irresistibly smokey charred finish.
The food was delicious and presentation on point!
The restaurant has been given a shake up. Exuding luxury and edginess, the new design and setting are modern and contemporary.

The famous Chef’s table which I have always loved is still there in front of the open kitchen and provides an opportunity to witness culinary theatre in action.

The luxurious private room has also been redesigned and now includes a more relaxed seating area. A perfect spot for an intimate private event.

We enjoyed everything we had, but our favourites were:
• The Dynamite Shrimps.
• Pulled Beef Sliders (24 hours braised beef served in a homemade black bun with caramelized onions and the most decadent steakhouse fries).
• Black Cod Burnt on The Jasper with a lush
Teriyaki glaze served on ginger soya noodles.
• Beef Black Angus Tenderloin and Rib Eye
• Smoked Lamb Rack (Honey, malden salt, cajun, smoked paprika, cherry tomato)
• The famous @stregisdoha Sticky Toffee Pudding Date sponge cake in a rich caramel sauce.
• The Chocolate Plate (Chocolate fondant , milk chocolate mousse, chocolate crunch and gianduja chocolate ice cream).

A kids menu is also available and includes mini burgers, stir-fried egg noodles, chicken lollipops and salmon skewers.
