Located 25 minutes by boat from Doha is an island that will make you forget that you are in Qatar. I was thrilled to discover that I do not need to be a guest at the resort to enjoy a special meal at Banana Island Resort.
Traverse the globe with a world of flavours, all on one island.
How does it work?
To book at any of the restaurants, contact Banana Island resort.
There is no charge for the ferry ride if you will be booking and enjoying a buffet meal.
If you would prefer to visit Banana Island Resort for a meal and order à la carte at one of their restaurants such as Azraq, Q Lounge, Zest, Ted’s, Riva or Al Nahham, you will need to pay Qar 200 pp at the port
The Qar 200 charge includes the ferry ride and you will get a Qar 100 voucher which can be used towards your meal.
Q Lounge
🌶 I was invited to Q Lounge for an Indian cuisine flavour journey. If you love Indian food, discover a mouth-watering collection from their new menu.
With favourites including Tawa Paneer Khurchan, Mushroom Malai, Baingan Bharta, Ghee Roast Lamb, Prawn Vindaloo, Butter Chicken and Biryani.
The Q Lounge and Restaurant has three parts, the beautiful Q Lounge which serves drinks and snacks on a spectacular setting on the pier or the Restaurant with both an elegant indoor formal area or a poolside dining area with views of the ocean.
❤ I love that all restaurants at Banana Island are alcohol-free.
