Soak up Doha’s sunshine and let the kids play to their hearts desire. Here are our favourite FREE parks in Doha:
Lusail Crescent Park
The sand park boasts a massive pirate ship, tiled crab, and an impressive spiral slide. Find it easily on Google Maps.
National Museum of Qatar
The Cave of Wonders (Dahl) and Adventure Ship playground @nmoqatar has opened. Promoting intergenerational learning opportunities for families. Open from 9am-7pm
Oxygen Park
There is something for everyone to do at Oxygen Park in Education City. Run, cycle or picnic.
🏃♀️ Every Monday and Wednesday evenings is Ladies-only from 3pm to 10pm.
🎬🍿 The whole family can enjoy a FREE movie night every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm and you even get FREE popcorn.
The Pearl-Qatar Park
Set at the back of Woqood petrol station, The Pearl-Qatar’s newest park consists of a wooden playground, climbing ropes and a toddler-friendly swing. Only accessible to Pearl residents.
Al Bidda Park
There are 2 parks in Al Bidda vicinity.
The one close to Doha Firestation gallery which has an impressive playground, zip line and musical equipment.
Al Bidda Park South features an all wooden playground a massive ship and a train suited for younger kids.
Leqtafiya Park
Set beside Newton International School in West Bay, this playground is made up of two parts, one suited for toddlers and one for bigger kids. The park also has a playground for children with special needs.
Dahl Al Hammam Park
A rather old park but one of the largest ones in Qatar and it is conveniently located right opposite Tawar Mall. The park consists of three playgrounds suitable for different age groups. Dahl Al Hammam has a wide skate park for rollerblading, skateboarding, or even riding a scooter.
Aspire Park
Not really considered as a playground but more of a park, Aspire is a popular attraction for the whole family. Discover a duck pond, water bridge, and plenty of green spaces for kids to run around.
Msheireb Downtown Park
This sweet and small corner playground in Mshreireb Downtown has a fun rollerslide, rubber mountain for climbing and a really tall slide for kids.
