Today we strolled around Souq Waqif looking for a cafè to have a quick bite and opened a beautifully hand carved door and discovered an eclectic café that could have been from another time zone. We chose this café purely because of that beautiful door and were not left dissapointed!

The terrace would be great in winter when it is cooler to sit and watch people strolling through Souq Waqif.
The Italian restaurants interior is made up of cosy spaces. Each room has its own character and colour theme and is filled with chandeliers, paintings, knickknacks and ornaments that give this quirky space a great atmosphere.

The menu compromises of mostly pizzas, pastas and desserts.

As it was not yet lunch we opted to try the chicken Pizza and indulge in a double chocolate mousse sponge cake.

The pizza was brimming with gooey melted cheese and was delicious.

We all fell in love with the creamy light chocolate and vanilla mousse layered between a soft sponge chocolate cake and enveloped in a rich decadent chocolate ganache.

Present in more than 40 countries, Café-Tasse is a Belgium chocolate cafè icon and I cant wait for my next visit.

If you are looking for a restaurant that has small private rooms with character, ambiance and great desserts for your next party this would be a great spot!
