Diya restaurant

Diya is the first Indian restaurant at the luxurious Al Hazm mall. Indian fusion cuisine with a twist. The weather is perfect for comforting Indian food and we enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the beautiful Diya outdoor terrace, eating delicious Indian food surrounded by the regal settings that is Al Hazm.

The first floor is private and luxurious. A perfect area to host birthday parties, engagements and even weddings. A special buffet menu can be curated for your guests.

OUR MEAL:

Starters:
Chicken Tikka (QR95.00)
Juicy Tandoor grilled chicken tenders, tossed in a yoghurt chilli marination, topped with finely julienned trio peppers and served with a mint chutney. The starter portion was large and we really enjoyed it.

Mains:
Murgh Makhani/butter chicken (QR140.00)
Tandoor charred chicken tikka, served with lots of rich and creamy makhani and the twist is the delicious Puglia burrata in the middle. The butter chicken is served with a trio of breads ( garlic naan, naan and roti).
I loved the garlic naan and would recommend that you ask them to replace the trio of naan with 3 garlic naan pieces.

Dessert:
Daulat Ki Chaad (QR95.00)
A light end to a hearty rich and comforting meal. Delicate milk foam sprinkled with roses, nuts, son papdi and 24 carat gold leaf. A very tasty instagrammable dish with the bed of roses and dry ice below.
