Expo 2023 Doha

Expo 2023 Doha is set to make history as the first A1 International Horticultural Exhibition in Qatar, the Middle East, and North Africa.

The theme for Expo 2023 Doha is “Green Desert, Better Environment”.

The theme has been founded to inspire the international community to explore and adopt innovative desertification mitigation solutions.

A Scenic View

Spanning 1.7 million square metres, the event takes place in the scenic Al Bidda Park, with breathtaking views of the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf.

You will be treated to beautiful gardens, thought-provoking talks, conferences, art, and cuisine during your visit.

Date: From October 2023 to March 2024, Expo 2023 Doha offers an extensive 179-day program.

-Volunteers will perform various tasks ensuring the best experience for visitors, participants and media.

-They will be placed with diverse functions which run the event (these include visitor services, events, cultural experience, media and ceremonies)

-Volunteers do not need professional skills. Your biggest assets are a can-do attitude, being a good listener and ability to help people patiently and courteously.

-Over the six-month duration of Expo 2023, one has to complete 45 shifts, an average of two days per week. A shift lasts 6-8 hours, depending on the role.

-Volunteering roles are unpaid. However, one will receive a unique volunteer uniform, access to volunteer-only events, a certificate of appreciation for one’s contribution and other exclusive benefits.

-Public transport (metro) within Doha, meals and refreshments are provided during the shifts.
