Eman Jowhary has a passion for crafts and sustainability. She use to conduct decoupage workshops to both adults and kids. In 2020, with the start of the pandemic, she had more free time and the idea of planting started which made her able to enjoy freshly picked home crops in her daily meals. She participated in the “Gharsa” initiative, who guided and supported her in many ways.
Eman encourages females to join the Gharsa initiative as it helps you learn the basics of organic farming.
Reshmi is from Kerala, the land of coconut trees in India and realised we didn’t have many pages in Qatar showcasing plant decor so she started to take photos of collections, arrangements and little corners. Her page is a way of sharing her interests and hobbies of gardening and inspiring others
The beautiful and serene Qur’anic Botanic Garden (QBG) exhibits and conserves the plants mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the native flora in Qatar.
Everyone can visit for free and stroll around the beautiful gardens and the Botanical Museum at #QBG to experience authentic Arab and Islamic Heritage in Oxygen Park @educationcity.qa
The Botanical Museum has a small exhibition which is free, open to the public and changes every few weeks.
