Why learn Arabic?
By studying Arabic while living in Qatar you can have a conversation with a Qatari in their language and thus gain their respect, feel completely at ease with the Qatari people and the culture, open doors in your career, strike friendships with Arab speakers, learn more about the Qatari culture, be able to read slogans or signs, read the Quraan with understanding and gain a deeper perspective of the Arabic-speaking world.
Below are a list of ways to learn Arabic in Qatar:
ARABIC LESSONS
The Hub Doha is offering Arabic lessons. The classes are for beginners and classes are every Monday and Thursday.
Two free weekly beginner Arabic Classes and two intermediate Arabic Classes at QAR 30 per session.
Intermediate Classes will be held on Mondays from 10am until 11am and Fridays from 12 until 1pm.
There is no registration needed, no exams and no homework.
Learn Arabic and enjoy some delicious food and drinks from the café.
Soheir Nada, one of the owners is an accomplished Arabic teacher and has even published her own books which will teach and guide whoever comes along.
Bring paper, pens and laptops.

Beginner Arabic I
This course supports students in developing strong communication skills in Arabic. Beginning with a focus on reading, pronouncing and recognizing Arabic sounds, the course progresses quickly towards developing intermediate reading, writing, speaking and listening proficiency as well as cultural competence.
By the end of the course, students are able to communicate with others about daily life topics, understand simple texts on familiar topics, and to actively use a vocabulary of approximately 600 words.

QNL is providing a chance for those who are learning Arabic as a second language to practice speaking Arabic. Discuss daily life and common Arabic words with a native Arabic speaker every Wednesday in January 2018.
