JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha are pleased to announce the appointment of Stefan Cirkovic as the new Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, bringing an exceptional blend of global expertise, creativity, and proven leadership in luxury hospitality.
Stefan joins JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha following four successful years with The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, where he served as Hotel Beverage Manager and most recently as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in elevating the hotel’s F&B operations, including signature venues such as Habanos and B-Lounge by Buddha Bar, while leading major banquets, high-profile activations, and VVIP events with Ritz-Carlton’s hallmark service excellence.
Before The Ritz-Carlton, Stefan built a robust international career with globally recognized brands, including Buddha-Bar Belgrade. His background includes managing high-energy bar operations, overseeing pre-opening projects, designing bar concepts and menus, and executing some of the region’s most prestigious VVIP events, such as FIFA Legends, FTA gatherings, Formula 1 afterparties, and large-scale luxury collaborations.
Stefan’s expertise is recognized on the global stage, having represented Serbia and Montenegro in the Beefeater MIXLDN World Finals in London, and securing top placements in leading international competitions, including Havana Club Grand Prix, Angostura Global Cocktail Challenge, and Schweppes Mixology Sessions. In 2023, he was named a Top 7 Finalist in the Marriott EMEA Rising Stars competition.
His contributions to sustainability have also been acknowledged, earning two Marriott International recognitions for Best Practices in Sustainability in 2023 and 2024, affirming his commitment to environmentally responsible luxury service.
In his new role at JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, Stefan will oversee daily F&B operations across high-volume outlets, support strategic development, and elevate the guest dining experience in alignment with JW Marriott’s focus on mindful, curated hospitality. His leadership will further strengthen the hotel’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and heartfelt service.
