Sait Efendi. A Turkish experience in Qatar.

All the way from the heart of Istanbul, Sait Efendi has brought authentic Turkish flavours in a beautifully decorated restaurant that will make you forget you are in Qatar. The meaning of food culture in Sait Efendi, is creating an aesthetic value with indispensable passion. It manages to bring to the table Gaziantep’s traditional cooking methods and presentation without losing its soul. We tried the breakfast this weekend and really enjoyed it.

Highlights:

🍯Hot Turkish breads straight from the clay oven slathered in creamy yoghurt and a drizzle of sweet honey. My favourites were the small round balloon breads.

🍳The shakshouka eggs which are creamy fluffy masala scrambled eggs. Just ask for exta chilli if you like it spicy like me.

🏺The crispy Kunefe (make sure you ask for some cream on the side!) The perfect balance of textures and flavours.

👲The dress up like Turkish Royalty booth. A fun way to end the Turkish experience and take a memory with you. A great Instagrammable moment!!

❤❤❤ There are private family booths and The opulent Sultan Mehmet room ( spacious enough for around 8 people) which would be perfect for a private party. Picture dressing up and having an Ertuğrul party! 😉
