The best ways to appreciate the beauty of Qatar is from a helicopter.

@gulfhelicopters has a new helicopter for Tours which showcases some of Qatar’s most iconic landmarks. There are 4 tours available. We booked the Doha City Tour.

We loved it… a bucket-list goal that lived up to our expectations!

– It was a relaxed and luxurious experience. The ride was smooth and we did not feel stressed or nauseous.

– A maximum of 4 passengers are taken per flight

– Duration: 30-35 minutes in the air.

– Price: QAR 6,500.00 per flight (maximum 4 passengers).

– We did the evening tour just before sunset and it was magical as the sky lit up and cast a warm glow over Qatar

– Professional cameras are not allowed. Mobile phone cameras can only be used and small cameras.

– There is a preplanned route for each tour.

-For the Doha City Tour, the helicopter leaves Doha Airport, flies over Thumama Stadium, Katara, The Pearl, Zig Zag Towers, Lusail and Doha Corniche.

– Guests need to check in using a QID or passport 1 hour before the flight at the Doha airport.

– Guests wait in the VIP lounge until take off. Water is provided.

– Passports or QIDs must be uploaded onto the website

There are two Flight Timings to choose from:

• Mornings – There is a scheduled take-off: Any time between 8am and 10.30am

• Afternoons – scheduled take-off at approximately 1.30pm as the last flight will be 45 minutes before sunset.

The Gulf Helicopter building is located in Doha Airport. Doha Airport entrance is across from Sharq Village. Add GULF HELICOPTER in your Google maps/uber.
