The Doha International Book Fair is one of the oldest and largest international book fairs in the region.
TIPS when visiting The Doha International Book Fair:
Carry cash. Most stalls are only accepting cash when selling books.
There is a QNB mobile atm outside Decc to withdraw cash
Use Entrance 4 @deccqatar to enter
Entrance is FREE but you must register online
Coffee shops are available
The kids section is located in hall 1
Guest of Honor and Ministry of Culture booth is located in hall 3

Specific times for visiting the exhibition:
Saturday to Thursday
9:00 am to 10:00 pm
Friday
3:00 pm to 10:00 pm
The last Saturday- from 10am
Capacity of the exhibition at all times: 2000 visitors, according to Ministry of Health statement
(Doors will be closed upon reaching the full capacity if the total number is reached inside the exhibition halls)
Entry to the exhibition will be through the pre-registration of visitors, as the registration code for the visit will be received via email.
The code that will be received is valid for the visit during the specified day. In the event that it is not possible or you want to change and book a ticket for another day, please amend the ticket details and choose the day if that day is available.
The code is used when entering and exiting the exhibition (Please keep the code as it is not possible to enter or exit without it).
Restriction of visiting the exhibition to those who have taken the second dose 14 days ago, or those who have recovered from infection with Covid 19 for a period not exceeding 12 months, with downloading the “Ehteraz” program as a mandatory condition for all visitors to the exhibition.
Commitment to follow health precautions in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Public Health (such as wearing masks, maintaining the correct spacing distance (one meter between each person) and sterilizing hands continuously)
