For over eleven years, The Backyard has been at the heart of Qatar’s live music scene, bringing people together under the stars with open-air energy, green lawns, and unforgettable performances. Now, the legacy continues indoors with a year-round concept that carries the same spirit into a new setting: CIRKLE at AMARU.
Launching Thursday, October 23, 2025, CIRKLE will take over AMARU every Thursday from 5 PM to 12 AM, setting the tone for Doha’s weekends with an authentic, music-first atmosphere. Designed for true fans of live sound and community vibes, it’s where the week unwinds and the rhythm begins.
Opening Night & Line-Up
The launch night will bring together some of Doha’s most-loved performers, including Caravan Dream, Crosstown Traffic, Midnight Queen, Bradley, After 6, Natalia & The Band, Eve & The Band, Lea Bloom, and more. The energy will continue each week with a rotation of tribute bands and international acts, creating a truly global sound experience right in the heart of Doha.
The Story Behind CIRKLE
Born from The Backyard’s enduring success and loyal following, CIRKLE represents the next chapter in Qatar’s live music evolution. The concept was envisioned by Candela Entertainment, the creative force that has shaped Doha’s open-air music scene for over a decade. Together with AMARU, they have created a space that blends authenticity, artistry, and connection, keeping the live-music spirit alive all year long.

Located on the 7th floor of JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, AMARU offers a seamless blend of indoor sophistication and outdoor allure. Its retractable roof, lush greenery, and warm wooden accents create an atmosphere that’s both elevated and relaxed – perfect for music lovers who want to enjoy the night in style.
The Experience
Each Thursday, CIRKLE will deliver a curated lineup of Doha’s best live bands and select international tribute performances, accompanied by a Happy Hour from 5 PM to 8 PM. Guests can choose between table bookings with à la carte dining or walk-in open seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
With no entry fee and a smart casual dress code, CIRKLE offers an inclusive yet refined experience – an evening for adults 18+ who appreciate great music, vibrant energy, and community spirit.
