Helicopter Tours over Qatar

One of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of Qatar is from a helicopter.

@gulfhelicopters has launched the “Samana Tourist” Tour which showcases some of Qatar’s most iconic landmarks.

We loved it… a bucket-list goal that lived up to expectations!

• It was a relaxed and luxury experience. The ride was smooth and we did not feel stressed or nauseous.

• A maximum of 4 Passengers are taken per flight

• The experience is between 30 to 35 minutes in the air.

• The Flight price is QAR 3,000.00 (USD 822.00) per flight.

• We did the evening sunset tour and it was magical as the sky lit up and cast a warm glow over Qatar

• Professional cameras are not allowed. Mobile phone cameras can only be used and small cameras.

• There is a preplanned route.
The helicopter leaves Doha Airport, flies over Katara, The Pearl, Zig Zag Towers, Alkotafia Lake in Qatar University and Doha Corniche.

• Guests need to check in using a QID or passport 1 hour before the flight at the airport.

• The same rules and regulations as airport check in applies at Doha Airport.

• Guests wait in the VIP lounge until take off. Water is served.

• Payment terms – The experience must be prepaid. An advance payment to GHC bank account and the original deposit slip will be submitted to GHC at least two days prior to the flight.

• A scan copy of the passengers valid Passports/ QIDs. (Samana passenger passport/QID must be emailed 3 working days (or 72 hours days prior to the flight).

Only Clear Scan Copies of the Passport/QID (two sided) are accepted.

Non-Nationals must send their QID’s along with Passport.

• There are two Flight Timings to choose from:

• Mornings – There is a scheduled take-off: Any time between 8am and 10.30am

• Afternoons – scheduled take-off at approximately 1.30pm as the last flight will be 45 minutes before sunset.
