I love to order what I need online. Not just clothing but all my day to day essentials such as ordering my laundry and groceries. Doha has lots of apps that can simplify ones life in Qatar.

Grocery apps:

INSTASHOP:

Available only in the Pearl.
There have been a few hiccups and I liked the professional way I was contacted by Instashop based in Dubai to sort the issues.
Charges: Qar3 per delivery to the Pearl area.
Prices for most items are the same as in grocery stores.
One can schedule a delivery or request it instantly for within 55 minutes delivery.

BAQAALA:

There is no Minimum order and no delivery charges. Order groceries from their mobile app and get it delivered in an hour. The options on the app are limited but they are very helpful when you call and ask if they have the item in store. I am very impressed at the lenghths they always go to, to find what I want.

Download the app and Schedule a time for laundry pickup through the website or the app and they will collect your laundry at your door. Washing and/or ironing services are offered. The staff are friendly and helpful and we have been very happy with the ironing. I would not recommend the dry cleaning. Prices are reasonable, turn around time is 48hrs and there is no minimum order. Qar 5 is charged per load picked up and delivered to your location. Email: hello@washnow.me

There is a Qar 5 charge to call a Karwa using the app, alternatively hail a Karwa taxi (please note that there is a minimum charge of Qar10 per ride and it works on a meter system). Karwa taxis can be found in the basement of malls such as City Centre (near the Dollar plus store).

The Baladiya app by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment is a great way for the public to purchase plants in Qatar at a low price.
