Dohas Dhow Sunset Cruise

Memories are created in a foreign land when one chooses unique experiences that you could never find anywhere else.

A traditional Dhow is a fantastic way to explore Dohas pristine coastline and take photographs of Dohas colourful skyline at night.

Westbay and Corniche with their twinkling lights and resplendent architecture always fascinates me at night. So when we had visitors I jumped at the oppurtunity to round up my friends and enjoy a traditional Dhow cruise, dinner and a chance at an authentic Doha experience.

As the Dhow interior is fully airconditioned going for a cruise in summer was not a problem.

National Cruise Doha is located in The Pearl. The boat is located in Porto Arabiya between la croisette 1 and 2. Pier A.

It is docked directly infront of Marina gate 2 infront of Balmesan restaurant.

We started off by cruising through the aqua waters as the sun sets over Doha while you relax on the deck of the dhow on traditional arab style seating. Romance has never been so easy to find as you leave behind the hustle and bustle of the Doha City and watch the moon rise.

An arabian influenced buffet dinner is served with a range of dishes such as soups, salads, moroccan chicken tagine, cinnamon rice, mixed grill meat and delicious fresh fish dishes.

There were a large range of desserts that would make everyone happy and licking their fingers.

From traditionally Umm Ali to cheesecakes, a chocolate fountain, tiramisu, fruit salad, dates and nuts, baklavas and a custard. Something for everyone.

Sunset cruise Time : 6:00 PM Till 9:00 PM

Food : International buffet.

Price includes both hot & cold beverages

A “Dhow” is a traditional wooden vessel used for transport for centuries in the Middle East.

Dhows were traditionaly used for trade as well as for pearl diving.

National cruise also offers day cruises, private cruises, day cruises and fishing cruises.
