Food review: FANAJEEN CAFÈ
Be prepared to be transported to the wonderful world of Alice in wonderland when you sit down at Fanajeen Café Qatar The decor is a mixture of whimsical luxury and the table settings add a fun light-hearted element of quirkiness. I wish i had dressed as Alice and I kept glancing around looking for the Mad Hatter.
Situated in the centre of The Gate mall they offer an extensive menu consisting of breakfast options, light salads, meals, mouth-watering main dishes, beautiful artistic desserts and signature drinks.
We enjoyed the classic breakfast special which was a lavish spread. For Qr 46 you were given a juice, hot beverage, 2 croissants( the almond croissant is delicious), a boiled egg, toast, 2 small rolls and a selection of jams,butter and honey. They were not miserly and the portions were huge so we shared it between 2 ladies and it was more than sufficient.
Main meals are served after 11.30am and presently the ENTERTAINER Doha offers a buy 1 get 1 free offer on the main meal.
I enjoyed the ambiance and will definitely be going back for the main course and lunch with the girls!
