The Mahaseel (Harvest) Festival
If you are looking for affordable, fresh organic locally produced fruits vegetables and plants then the Mahaseel Festival is the place.
Open from 9am to 10pm (except Fridays) from January 2018 till the end of March. The Festival will open only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. A large range of fresh locally grown vegetables, dairy and meat products and flowers are available at excellent prices from the 22 Qatari farm stalls and six national companies such as Baladna (Cheese, Qar 5 a litre fresh Milk and Yoghurt), Widam (Meat), Ghadeer (Dairy products and Juices) and Athba Farm (Poultry products).
There is also a limited range of food stalls but complimentary golf carts are available to take visitors to Katara for a meal. The festival is located at Katara’s Southern Area infront of St Regis.
