Going on a hot air balloon has been a childhood dream for me. @asfaryqatar offers daily balloon rides over Doha and the experience was incredible.
What To Expect- @newindoha tips:
• Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Rides are available daily. Private rides can also be booked.
• Your clothes should be comfortable with sturdy enclosed footwear such as sneakers or shoes. Wear pants as you do need to climb into and out of the basket.
• Duration: Around 45 Minutes or more in the air. It depends on the wind.
• Asfary has about 5 different take-off locations in Doha. The balloon follows the wind, so each flight is unique
• The balloon ride ends somewhere else. Transport is then provided back to the starting point.
• They will not fly children under the age of 8 years. A child under the age of 16 years will only be flown if accompanied by a responsible adult, and the child is over 4’6″ tall.
• If weather does not allow, flights may get delayed until the next morning.
• Asfary operates balloon flights early in the morning as close to sunrise as possible but the experience is weather and wind dependent.
• The ride at this time is Qar 999 per person on weekdays and the weekend flight is QAR 1499 per person. Family package / Private ride (Applicable for a group of 6 people) is Qar 5999 for the group
• I would suggest going on a weekend as the city is quiet and peaceful.
• Karak, water and a sandwich is provided at the end of the ride.

The 2nd edition is coming to Aspire from the 9th to the 18th of December. A 10 day festival of Hot Air Balloons where 35 balloons will be participating from around the world.
