Vedanti’s Journey: From Trainee to Director

Vedanti embarked on her journey in the hospitality industry in 2008 as a Management Trainee at the Hyatt Regency Delhi. Her rapid ascent saw her progress to the position of Team Leader in Food & Beverage by 2009 and later as an Assistant Manager. She then ventured to Doha, where she quickly made her mark as an Assistant Manager at one of the city’s most prestigious 5-star hotels. Within a year, she was appointed as the Bar Manager and subsequently transitioned into the role of Events Service Manager.

A Remarkable Chapter at The Westin

Vedanti’s remarkable journey at The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa commenced in 2018 when she joined as an Operations Manager in Banqueting, Catering, and Conferencing. Throughout her tenure, she consistently delivered exceptional contributions and exhibited unwavering dedication.

In her previous role as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Vedanti displayed exceptional leadership by spearheading numerous successful initiatives. Her visionary approach, coupled with tireless efforts, not only led these initiatives to success but also continually raised the bar of excellence within The Westin. Her ability to think beyond the conventional and her unwavering commitment to achieving exceptional results have left an indelible mark on the brand’s reputation for excellence.

Dedication to Excellence

Since joining the property in 2018, Vedanti has made remarkable strides in overseeing the Food and Beverage Department. Notably, she achieved Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and was appointed as the property’s BASE Coach, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to excellence.
