Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail announces the opening of Brisa by Praia, a new beachfront restaurant located on the hotel’s private shoreline. Inspired by Mediterranean coastal destinations including Ibiza, the Côte d’Azur and the Greek islands, the concept brings together all-day dining, beachfront lounging and music-led ambience within a contemporary setting overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Designed as a refined yet relaxed seaside destination, Brisa by Praia reinterprets Riviera-style living through an experience adapted to Doha’s coastline.
The restaurant features outdoor seating areas and uninterrupted sea views, creating a setting intended to transition seamlessly from daytime lunches to evening gatherings.
The interiors combine natural textures and contemporary finishes, with sustainably sourced bamboo used throughout the space alongside woven lighting, rattan detailing and earthy materials. A palette of deep blue, sand, terracotta and ivory tones reinforces the Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic, while bar seating and lounge areas contribute to a more social atmosphere.
Open daily for lunch and dinner, Brisa by Praia’s culinary offering focuses on Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on seafood, grilled specialties and sharing-style dishes. The menu includes a selection of crudo dishes such as Tuna Ventresca and Carabinero Carpaccio, alongside signature creations including the Royal Trikini and Brisa Signature Caviar Pasta.
The Josper Grill forms a central part of the experience, featuring a selection of meat and seafood dishes including Garlic Suckling Lamb Chops, Wagyu Rib Eye and Grilled King Crab. Larger-format plates designed for sharing such as the Prawn Paella further reflect the venue’s Mediterranean approach to communal dining.
Throughout the day, Brisa by Praia evolves from a relaxed lunch destination into an evening dining and social setting with music programming and beachfront seating. The restaurant is also available for private events, celebrations and group gatherings.
